Senior Manager, Demand Marketing

The Senior Manager, Demand Marketing is responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing lead generation and go-to-market programs that support sales, marketing and partner objectives. The position will partner with product marketing, sales and contractors to deeply understand the customer lifecycle and buyers journey – developing programs that further the journey and improve engagement.

This position will be accountable for accelerating pipeline and revenue growth through campaign development and execution. The role will include responsibility for demand marketing strategy, managing marketing pipeline metrics, marketing automation systems and performing pre/post-analysis of all programs ranging from webinars, trade shows, partner events, regional field activities, to online programs. This position reports to the vice president, marketing.


  • Strategically plan, manage and execute marketing demand generation programs such as webinars, email campaigns, in-person events to meet quarterly lead, opportunity, and pipeline metrics. Partner with Sales ops to develop dashboards and monitoring of metrics.
  • Execute offline and online/digital marketing programs for new business, account based marketing (ABM) and existing customers.
  • Work with strategic and technology partners on joint execution of programs.
  • Ensure programs provide consistent Aviatrix branding and messaging, while educating and informing on Aviatrix solutions for cloud networking
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for marketing program support including timely design and development of emails, online creative, import of leads into, routing of leads to sales, creation of print graphics, etc.
  • Manage demand marketing lead nurturing programs with a growth mindset using “test, measure, refine” models and/or A/B testing to drive continuous improvement. Convert initial prospect interest to consideration and purchase.
  • Interface with various groups to communicate plans and share results including sales, product management, business development and executive management.
  • Follow programs through to completion by monitoring performance and completing post-program ROI analysis.
  • Manage programs on time and on budget. Build out the necessary infrastructure of contractors with the opportunity to build a world-class demand marketing team as the company grows.

Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required with significant experience in and marketing automation (Marketo experience preferred). Highly knowledgeable on current demand marketing best practices with curiosity to always be learning.
  • Self-motivated, highly productive individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while bringing a “start-up” mentality and energy to the role. Ability to apply an understanding of the company strategy, combined with planning and execution excellence, to the position
  • 6-10 years B2B marketing experience targeting mid and larger enterprise, preferably in software, SaaS services or IT infrastructure markets. Partner and/or reseller channel experience a plus.
  • A collaborator and a thinker who is well-rounded in all aspects of marketing: positioning, demand generation, digital marketing, marketing automation, & marketing operations
  • Demonstrated ability to interface appropriately and effectively with management, marketing colleagues and vendors to accomplish company goals and objectives.
  • Must be detail oriented, and possess strong organization and time management skills. Stats junkie who is analytical and comfortable with crunching numbers and driving decisions based on data.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial atmosphere with a high degree of initiative and a demonstrated sense of urgency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with the ability to comfortably present and evangelize to senior management across the company
  • Driven to understand what happened, why it happened, and make corrections & improvements continuously
