Embedded Network Security Distributed Firewalling Aviatrix reduces the requirement for and expense of single point of inspection solutions by building distributed firewalling and micro-segmentation, automated threat detection, and anomaly detection into the network fabric. The platform leverages native CSP tags, among other attributes to program enforcement rules that are dynamically enforced in the network nearest to the instances or VMs the rules are intended to protect. Next Generation Firewall Service Insertion Aviatrix multi-region cloud network backbone offers a simplified architecture for next generation firewall and SSL offloading security service insertion and control in the public cloud. Aviatrix has worked closely with our security partners (Check Point, F5, Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks) and the cloud providers to overcome many of the challenges enterprises face when brining these appliances to public cloud. End-to-End and High-performance Encryption Aviatrix multi-region cloud network backbone delivers end-to-end encryption. A standard IPSec encrypted link in the cloud is limited to 1.25 Gbps. Aviatrix ActiveMesh ECMP high availability provides 5Gbps bi-directional throughput. To achieve even more aggregate encrypted throughput, Aviatrix's high-performance encryption distributes processing across multiple cores and aggregates IPSec tunnels to reach wire speed encryption across private connections, such as AWS Direct Connect or Azure ExpressRoute circuits up to 25 Gbps and up to 100 Gbps for intra-cloud links. Terraform Automation As enterprises bring business-critical applications to the cloud, cloud network teams must embrace Infrastructure-as-Code automation and DevOps practices, including source control and CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment, replication, testing, and updates.
