On the heels of announcing Dallas as the company’s new international hub, we are now celebrating the grand opening of our new office in the Research Park at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).
With over 600 customers – including 63 Fortune 500 industry leaders – Aviatrix is helping enterprises simplify multi-cloud networking and network security with one architecture, one network, any cloud.
As we continue growing, we are expanding our teams of the best and brightest software engineers and solutions architects to help build what today’s enterprises need to stay competitive and innovative in the cloud era.
Champaign is an ideal office location for Aviatrix as the city fosters academics – attracting top-notch students that attend the prestigious UIUC – and tech talent looking to start or advance their careers at some of the most innovative companies. In addition to offering a wealth of career opportunities in technology, the cost of living in Champaign is far more affordable than other technology hubs.
Located on the UIUC campus, the Research Park has become a technology hub for corporate research and development operations, startups, and established companies. There are more than 120 companies that employ thousands of employees and at any given time, and more than 800 student interns gaining valuable learning and work experience.
Aviatrix joins an impressive community of other leaders in their respective industries, including Abbott Laboratories, Bayer, BP, Capital One, Caterpillar, Motorola Solutions, P&G, Riverbed, State Farm, Nvidia, and Yahoo, along with 50 startups that are commercializing technology.
The 4,000 square foot office is dedicated entirely to Aviatrix software engineering initiatives and is currently staffed by nearly a dozen fulltime software engineers coming from companies like Cisco, Yahoo, Nvidia, Wolfram, and Riverbed. With space for up to 30 employees, we are actively recruiting new team members at this location.
To nurture tomorrow’s tech talent and offer a potential career path at Aviatrix, we have also established an internship program, working with the UIUC and Purdue University.
